My first Homeward Breathwork was an experience I will never forget. I experienced so viscerally the connection between my emotions and my body, and felt overwhelming gratefulness to be given a space to process and witness them. Breath work can be intimidating and scary. Noticing and experiencing my resistance to embrace my full self (the internalized shame, guilt, grief and pain) gave me the space to relate, accept and process these emotions with self-compassion and love.
